***Due to popular demand, Swan City Basketball will be offering FALL Club Basketball Options. Club Basketball is a competitive program offering which will include 1-2 practices a week, 1 local tournament (teams permitting) and 2 out of town tournaments (Edmonton and potentially Red Deer/Calgary).

*Travel Costs to and from Tournaments are the responsibility of each participant.*

**2024 Costs per player will be determined by Roster Size, Tournaments and Practice Schedule.**
*Swan City Club Basketball is run as a cost-recovery program. Gym Rentals for Practices, Tournament Entry Fees, Uniforms and Coach Reimbursement for travel make up 85% of fees collected. All Coaches are volunteer and are not paid for coaching. Balance of fee collection goes towards GST and Taxes.
Potential Tournaments 2024:
*Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, Okotoks, Calgary, Prince George, Kamloops, etc all have tournaments. Not each team will attend each tournament.*
All Teams will participate in our home tournament in June, teams will either go to Fort St. John, Dawson Creek or Peace River (rarely all 3) and 2-3 out of town tournaments. Each out of town tournament is generally a 2 night stay for 4 games minimum and potentially a 5th game.
Each team will attend 3-4 out of town tournaments and we will look to host 1 local tournament through the months of May and June.
Teams will practice minimum twice a week for a minimum of 1.5hrs each practice.
Practice Schedules have yet to be determined due to coach and gym availability.
There will be a few fundraising efforts to help reduce the cost of the CLUB basketball season in addition to helping send a few squads to GONZAGA University for a TEAM CAMP!
